Who we are

W4F (Websites 4 Future) operates the website w4f.com and provides website design, development, hosting and related digital services to businesses. You can contact us at hello@w4f.com.

Information we collect

We collect information only when you choose to give it to us:

• Inquiry and preview requests: your name, business name, email address, phone number, industry, location, current website address, goals and any message you write.
• Website health check: the website address you enter. The analysis may be performed by Google’s PageSpeed Insights service, which receives the address you submit.
• Demo personalization: details you type into the preview tool (business name, city, services, colors) are used in your browser to render the preview. If you upload a logo, it stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
• Technical information: if analytics is enabled, aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate region. We do not sell this information and we configure analytics to avoid collecting personal identifiers where the provider allows it.

How we use it

• To prepare and send the website preview, quote or reply you asked for.
• To provide and support services you purchase from us.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax records.

We do not send marketing emails or messages unless you have asked for them, and you can opt out at any time.

Legal bases (where GDPR or UK GDPR applies)

We process inquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform a contract with you. We process technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful website. Where consent is required (for example, for non-essential cookies), we ask for it first.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate: form and email delivery, hosting, analytics (if enabled), and Google’s PageSpeed Insights for the website check. Each provider processes data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

We serve businesses in several countries, so information may be stored or processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship plus the period required by law for business records. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have comparable rights, including the right to know and to opt out of sale (we do not sell data).
